BRASIL SCHOOL NEWS - JUST REHEARSING

1) Disappearing teachers

S1 – Today we came to school and…

S2- … and none of the teachers are here.

S1- We cannot have any classes because…

S2- … because there is no one here to teach us!

2) Aliens in the garden

S1 – There are some big green aliens in the playground.

S2- They came from outer space, it is very exciting.

P2– Hello alien, thank you for visiting!

P1-Do you like planet Earth?

A1 – I like planet Earth.

A2- I love Barcelona. 

3) Two students can’t stop reading!

S1 – I don’t know what’s happening,

S2- Our eyes are glued to the pages.

S1- We can’t stop reading.

S2- I have already read 7 books today!

P1 –This is very strange.

4) An interview with school actors

S1 – The play is going very well.

S2- We are nearly ready to perform the play to the all the staff and pupils in the school.

S1- It is very exciting but I am nervous too.

P 2 – FiFi the dog is a very famous story about a dog.

P1- Fifi doesn’t like baths.

5) A monster discovered at Escola Brasil!

S1 – We walked into English classroom and

S2… and there was a very big and very strong monster

S1- He was eating all the pencils,

S2- All the rubbers,

S1- All the scissors

S2- And they’re very expensive.

6) Jungle animals in the playground

Teacher 1 – We found the animals on the streets!

T2 - My elephant is called Nelly. It is very big and heavy.

T1 – My crocodile is called Teeth and he is very well trained.

P2 – Are the animals dangerous?

T2 – They are not dangerous, they are fun! They love football.
